Job Description

Automated Health Systems is hiring a part-time Intake Specialist in the Merrillville, Indiana area.

As a part of the Indiana Intake Agent Services Program, you will be responsible for assisting individuals and families gain access to child care services. 

Qualifications for the positions include:

  • Excellent communication skills;
  • Minimum 1 to 2 years of phone-based customer service required;
  • Strong PC proficiency;
  • Knowledge of screening and eligibility requirements for Indiana public benefits preferred. 
  • Associate Degree and/or related experience required.
  • Bilingual language skills a plus.

Job Requirements

The Intake Specialist will be responsible for providing support to ensure parents understand the application process and documentation required.   previous eligibility experience preferred.
