Job Description

This position is open to all qualified applicants.

A Team Leader is needed for the new Community Support Team (CST) to serve Lumpkin, Habersham, Stephens and White Counties. The active team works with clients who have a severe and persistent mental illness (SPMI) and co-occurring substance abuse disorders. Services are provided 24 hours per day, 7 days per week.

Job Description:

Assess and coordinate support services to clients.
Lead a team of two paraprofessionals.
Serve clients based on individual needs.
Will be part of the on-call clinical treatment team and will rotate on-call duties with team members.

Minimum Qualifications:

Licensed counseling professional (LPC, LCSW, or LMFT) and experience in the provision of therapeutic services with at least one year of supervisory experience leading a multidisciplinary team.

The ideal candidate will have a clear understanding of the characteristics and problems of adults with severe and persistent mental illnesses and will be knowledgeable about the CST model.

Applicants must not have six (6) or more points against their driver's license or a suspended or revoked driver's license within the last five (5) years.

Must be willing to take rotating 24 hour on-call duties

This position has an on-call pay stipend included in the advertised salary.
