Join our team of competent and compassionate professionals as the Assistant Program Director in our Residential Support Services program at Behavioral Health Network! The Assistant Program Director supervises Residential Coordinators, providing them with regular support, guidance, evaluation, and direction. The Assistant Program Director ensures services are based on contract requirements by supervising staff, caseloads, documentation reviews, and other administrative tasks.

Also, the Assistant Program Director is ideally a kind, flexible, and organized team leader who has a passion to support the learning and growth of people with developmental disabilities.  Overall, they provide direct and indirect services to support and maintain the overall health, housing, benefits, community integration, relationships, and employment opportunities for individuals served.

In the Residential Support Services program at BHN, we provide 24-hour staffed residential services, community day support, individual and family support services, a social club, and an advocacy program for adults with a range of developmental disabilities. BHN values the individuals we serve in shared living and small group homes. Each person we serve is part of a team that includes family, BHN staff, and other providers who work together to assess the individual’s needs and goals and then create and maintain a plan reflecting strengths, capabilities and desires.

Job Requirements

The Assistant Program Director at Behavioral Health Network has the following qualities:

  • Commitment to supporting the human rights, empowerment and growth of consumers (required).
  • Bachelor’s in related field (required)
  • At least two years of experience in human services (required).
  • Candidate with residential and supervisory experience (preferred).
  • Familiarity with the internet, word processing and email (required).
