Job Description

Become a part of our team of competent and compassionate professionals as a Behavior Management Therapist (BCBA) in our In-Home Behavioral Services program at Behavioral Health Network!

Behavior Management Therapists provide high-quality clinical services and family consultation, conducting structured interviews with youth, family, and providers. Using techniques grounded in principles or Positive Behavior Support (PBS) and Applied Behavioral Analysis (ABA), Behavior Management Therapists create written functional behavior assessments and develop a specific, focused behavior intervention plan to diminish, extinguish, or improve specific identified behaviors.

Behavior Management Therapists provide services in client homes, healthcare clinics, schools, and other community settings, as needed. They model how to implement identified strategies for parents, caregivers, and other providers and work closely with Behavior Management Monitors in the behavior intervention plan, making adjustments as needed. Finally, they participated in Care Planning Team meetings for youth to support identified goals, maintain a direct service productivity of 70%, and receive qualified BCBA supervision.

Our employees are the most important asset in improving the lives of the individuals we serve. Our staff not only enjoy outstanding benefits and professional growth opportunities, but also an environment noted for community involvement, diversity, the opportunity to gain highly marketable skills, and to take on challenges. BHN is committed to growing our own employees and promoting from within.

The In-Home Behavioral Services program at Behavioral Health Network works with parents and caregivers to help youth develop the skills they need to respond effectively to behavioral challenges. The goal of the IBHS team is to replace challenging behaviors with healthy, prosocial behavioral alternatives. The IHBS program includes intensive services, involving 2-4 weekly visits by team members, as part of individually tailored behavioral interventions made for each child and family situation.

Behavioral Health Network is a growing non-profit community behavioral health agency that has been providing services to children, adults, families and communities in Western Massachusetts since 1938.  BHN provides comprehensive, outcome-driven behavioral health care. We are dedicated to offering high quality, affordable and culturally appropriate care to people of all ages and income levels in our constituent communities.
