Join our team of competent and compassionate professionals as a Clinician in Outpatient Services at Behavioral Health Network!

This position is fully bilingual English/Spanish, based in Holyoke, MA, with options for Hybrid or In-Person available!

The City Clinic (CC) in Holyoke, MA, provides psychotherapeutic clinical services to children, families, and adults with mental health and substance abuse problems.

As a fully bilingual clinic, we offer linguistically and culturally relevant services in in both Spanish and English. Our goal is to provide high quality mental health services in a community setting that faces many social, economic, and psychological challenges.

Bilingual Clinicians receive a premium over the base wage for utilizing their valuable skills in clinical care settings and may be eligible for Relocation Assistance.

Clinicians at City Clinic may be eligible for loan repayment through the National Health Service Corps (NHSC).

BHN is eligible for several other student loan repayment programs including PSLF.

Outpatient Clinicians provide direct services to BHN clients across the lifespan via outcome-driven, evidence-based psychotherapy and social-emotional skills training and support.

Clinical services include comprehensive assessments, individual, couple, family, and group therapy, and team-based care with other service providers as indicated.

Outpatient Clinicians provide therapy services to their caseload, participate in clinical team meetings and supervision, formulate collaborative treatment plans, measure progress toward set outcomes, and coordinate treatment with a multidisciplinary team.

License-eligible clinicians have twice-weekly individual and group supervision with a supervisor with the right credentials for you to get your license (LMHC, LMFT, LICSW, and even Psychologists.) Independently-licensed clinicians continue to receive regular supervision for consultation, professional growth, and administrative support.

Outpatient Clinicians may hold Fee-for-Service hourly positions (minimum average of 8-10 hrs/week,) with both Part-Time and Full-Time salaried positions also available.

Outpatient Clinicians have opportunities for career development, along with a newly higher salary structure and the potential for earned productivity bonus. Salaried productivity is based on 25 hrs/ for a 40-hour workweek. Minimum FFS commitment is 8 hrs/week average.

What are we looking for in an Outpatient Clinician?

Bilingual English/Spanish Required for this Position!

  • Master’s Degree or higher in Social Work, Clinical/Counseling Psychology, Mental Health Counseling, or Marriage and Family Therapy (required).
  • Independent Licensure OR License-Eligible and working toward Independent Licensure (required).
  • Experience providing clinical services with children, adolescents, and/or adults (required).
  • Broad knowledge of mental health diagnoses and evidence-based treatment techniques (required).
  • Internship or professional experience in an Outpatient setting (preferred).
  • Competence with normal pace and content required for clinical documentation, electronic medical records (EMR,) telehealth platforms, Microsoft office programs (required).
