Join our team of competent and compassionate professionals as a Bilingual (English/Spanish) Clinical Supervisor in CBHC/Outpatient Services at Behavioral Health Network!

This position is based in Springfield, MA, with options for hybrid or fully in-person availability!

The Community Behavioral Health Center (CBHC) in Springfield provides co-located mental health and substance abuse treatment, urgent care, emergency services, therapy, psychiatry, peer supports, and care coordination in a vibrant, collaborative urban setting.

Bilingual CBHC clinical staff collaborate with a team to provide culturally aware and competent services to diverse families and individuals in our community.

Clinical Supervisors at Liberty Street may be eligible for National Health Service Corps (NHSC) loan repayment, with bilingual staff earning a premium for their skills.

Clinical Supervisors are experienced independently licensed mental health professionals. They are an important part of our clinics’ leadership teams, providing responsive, staff-centered support and guidance including clinical oversight, professional mentoring, and all aspects of administrative supervision to support clients’ and staff members’ wellbeing.

Clinical Supervisors also have room for advancement within the Outpatient department and across BHN and are supported in identifying and working toward their own professional goals. Some weekend, evening rotating coverage is required.

Clinical Supervisors also actively provide direct services to BHN clients across the lifespan via outcome-driven, evidence-based psychotherapy and social-emotional skills training and support.

Clinical services include comprehensive assessments, individual, couple, family, and group therapy, and coordination with other service providers as indicated.

Clinical Supervisors receive regular training in Evidence-Based models of treatment with a Social Justice lens, formulate collaborative treatment plans, measure progress toward set outcomes, and coordinate treatment with a multidisciplinary team.

What are we looking for in a Clinical Supervisor?

Bilingual English/Spanish Required for this Position!

  • Master’s Degree or higher in Social Work, Clinical/Counseling Psychology, Mental Health Counseling, or Marriage and Family Therapy (required).
  • Independent Clinical Licensure (required,) 3 years post-licensure experience (preferred).
  • Experience providing clinical services with children, adolescents, and/or adults (required).
  • Massachusetts CANS certification (required prior to start date).
  • Broad knowledge of mental health diagnoses and evidence-based treatment techniques (required).
  • Team-based collaborative and goal-directed approach to client care (required).
  • Willing and able to work on-site in Springfield at least 20% of the time (required).
  • Willing and able to do walk-in care and assessments of all clients, of all ages, and all diagnoses (required).
  • Willing and able to follow-up with assessed clients using evidence-based treatment whenever clinically indicated for short term care. (required)
  • Internship or professional experience in an Outpatient setting (preferred).
  • Competence with normal pace and content required for clinical documentation, electronic medical records (EMR,) telehealth platforms, email, Microsoft office programs (required).
  • All CBHC staff must work some weekend/evening hours in order to rotate coverage to cover openings in a planned manner (flex hours, not overtime).
