Use your Nursing experience to serve youth in the community!

Join our team of competent and caring professionals as a Nurse Manager at the Village for Youth program at Behavioral Health Network! Nurse Managers provide nursing assessments of youth served prior to their medical appointments. Nurse Managers identify, evaluate, and respond to changes in youth serviced condition and reports various findings. Nurse Managers take medication orders from psychiatrist/APRN and phones in to pharmacy as requested, ensuring that mediations are acquired/available for those served. Nurse Managers distribute medication to those served, complying with accepted nursing standards. Nurse Managers completes paperwork related to service on a timely basis, provides education to youth/families, and demonstrates willingness to work with challenging and diverse populations.

At Behavioral Health Network’s Village for Youth CBAT Program, we believe in utilizing leadership, problem solving, and communication skills to create a safe and nurturing environment which will offer the opportunity to guide, teach, serve, and empower youth. Through the use of trauma informed, strength based models, academic instruction, and clinical support, we focus on providing youth with mental health issues the assistance they need to integrate and succeed within our community.

Job Requirements

Nurse Managers at Behavioral Health Network have the following qualities:

  • Current R.N. license by Massachusetts Board of Registration (required).
  • Minimum of one year of experience working with a psychiatric population (required).
  • Minimum of two years of supervisory experience (preferred).
  • Well-organized with good interpersonal skills (required).
  • Familiarity with internet, word processing and e-mail systems (required).
  • Ability to understand, empathize, and work with mentally ill population, including those with co-occurring disorders.
  • Knowledge of quality assurance standards and CARF standards (required).
