Job Description

Bios Corporation is seeking a Lead Program Manager who will be responsible for coordinating and supervising the operations of multiple residential programs of people with developmental disabilities. This person would assist individuals in living their lives to the fullest.

This job requires

Working on-call for some weekends and evening shifts when staffing is needed.

Essential Job Functions:

  • Provides effective and efficient scheduling of staff to meet the needs and goals of individuals supported and provides on-call 24 hour staff assistance during emergencies.
  • Coordinating and participating in individual plan meetings; monitors, documents and reports progress toward meeting outcomes
  • Coordinates communications with other service agencies to ensure individual outcomes are met.
  • Manages personnel by interviewing, hiring, evaluating, supervising, and helping to develop the most qualified individuals to work as direct support professionals
  • Ensures time cards and payroll procedures are followed
  • Ensures Basic Assurances requirements are met including current state licensing and certification rules and regulations, accreditation requirements and agency policies and procedures are followed.
  • Monitors physical upkeep of the service site, vehicles and personal property; takes action to correct any concerns.
  • Coordinate, implement, and participate in direct support professional staff training and in-services by orienting new staff, scheduling staff for training, and maintaining training records.
  • Manages, and implement program budgets and ensures financial records are complete, thorough and submitted in a timely manner.
  • Participates in on-call duties as defined by the on-call policy.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in related field or a combination for experience working with adults with disabilities along with management experience
  • Must have ability to travel among assigned sites
  • Must be able to assist with a two-person lift of an adult
  • Must be able to do frequent bending and lifting and stand for eight (8) hours at a time

Schedule Details:

  • Monday-Friday, but must have flexibility to work weekends and nights
  • Occasional on-call shifts beyond normal business hours as needed
