Personal Care Attendants (PCAs): Bios Care Personal Care Attendants support Seniors in their homes. These are non-certified positions and we will train you to provide the care. Starting pay for this position is $8.25 an hour. Personal Care Attendants provide the help people need to stay at home and out of a nursing home. Personal Care Attendant services are based on a plan of care developed and overseen by a nurse and are scheduled according to the needs of the customer.

Job responsibilities:

  • Follow Plan of Care as written, requesting updates and modifications based on customer needs
  • Clearly document all aspects of services provided
  • Maintain a high degree of honesty and integrity at all times
  • Transport people as needed.
  • Acquire and maintain all required and needed training to properly serve customers
  • Maintain valid driver’s license and auto insurance at all times
  • Perform all aspects of job safely and using good judgment
  • Maintain privacy and confidentiality of all A Better Life Homecare customers, families and employees
  • Work to increase knowledge and skills in areas relevant to position and customers
  • Communicate openly and respectfully with customers, supervisors, members of the community
  • Represent A Better Life Homecare well in all aspects of manner, dress, communication and actions

Flexible schedules are available with Full-time/Part-Time Hours working during the day, evenings, and weekends.

  • At least 18 or older
  • Valid Drivers License
  • Have a vehicle with current insurance in applicants name
  • Clean Background
