Safety Attendants

Do you want to be part of our winning TEAM at CertifiedSafety?  We are now hiring Safety Attendants (Fire watch, Hole watch, Bottle watch & Ground Support).  At CertifiedSafety, We consider our company the leader in providing safety personnel and services in our industry.

This person will be responsible for monitoring the safe-working conditions of a job area and its immediate surrounds. Recognize hazardous condition and know how to address them either through preventive action, reporting to the appropriate authority, and/or countering the hazard with trained response. 

This includes: 

  • Able to Walk, Stand or Sit for up to 12+ hours

  • Able to walk long distances on hard, soft, uneven surfaces, elevated platforms, up to three flights of stairs and walkways.

  • Able to communicate: Ability to call out loudly in a clear voice, give clear instructions, directions and use a 2-way radio in a safety critical situation. Read and understand permits, safety directions, and signs.

  • Visual: Continual visual communication with entrants, observing and watching gauges, etc.

  • Able to Evacuate: Mental and physical ability at a moment notice at a brisk pace to a muster point up to 500 feet away.

  • Climbing/Reaching and Balancing ability: Able to climb ladders, stairs, scaffolding up to 300 feet and able to work at elevated heights up to 300 feet or more.

  • Able to lift tools, materials and equipment not to exceed 60 pounds.

  • Able to crawl, stoop and bend: Around towers, exchangers, tanks, through manways, vessels, and inside confined spaces with less than 48” of vertical clearance.


Job Requirements

We are looking for the following in a candidate:

  • Must be able to annually pass CertifiedSafety’s Safety Attendant Training class.
