Job Description

Primary job functions and performance expectation

  • Coordinate hiring process.
  • Maintain personnel files and records.
  • Provide employee orientations.
  • Provide personnel training and development.
  • Responsible for evaluation and motivation of work force.
  • Responsible for center health and safety.
  • Develop worker and job specifications.
  • Maintain compliance with all federal, state and local employment guidelines to include HIPAA and OSHA.
  • Update and/or recommend changes in policies, procedures and benefits to maintain high employee and job stability.
  • At the direction of Chief Executive Officer:
  • Investigate causes of disputes and grievances and recommends
  • Corrective action.
  • Investigate other employee/employment issues.
  • Conduct employee counseling.
  • Prepare monthly statistical data.
  • Other duties as assigned by Chief Executive Officer.

Job Requirements

Minimum Qualifications: Requires a Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources or Business related field with at least 2 years’ experience in a HR generalist role preferred. Knowledge of federal and state employment law requirements, FMLA and FLSA. Responsible for assuring property, liability, and workers compensation insurance coverage for the center.
