GeoLogics is working with one of the hiring managers at an excellent aerospace company and he is in search of an Advanced Production Operator. This is a long-term contract position (12-18 months) with possible extensions.

Representative Duties and Tasks:
The Advanced Production Operator position requires a minimum of 4 years’ experience, J-STD certification and a broad skillset including fine pitch soldering, and a variety of mechanical assembly operations. This role requires the selected candidate to be able to read schematics and work from written instructions.
 
The Advanced Manufacturing Production Operator will perform project tasks/assignments of moderately complex nature ranging from repetitive to non-repetitive production assembly operations on electronic and/or mechanical assemblies and subassemblies such as modules, boards, panels, drawers, frames, and cables.
 
Basically, you’ll perform fabrication or inspection functions in a research, production or pre-production environment by reading and interpreting moderately complex schematics and drawings. Following more advanced methods, techniques, and sequence of operations in performing wiring, component installation, hand soldering, and cable harnessing on subassemblies and units, we’ll rely on you to build or integrate hardware for prototypes, subassemblies or systems, perform moderately complex electrical tests along with more complex rework and refurbishment of hardware and systems.

  • Ability to perform more advanced loading and configuring of customer/standard software on customer device
  • Ability to accurately complete process paperwork and entering data into the applicable work order management system
  • Solid computer, communication and time management skills
  • Solid knowledge of measuring/test equipment and math

Education:
High School diploma or equivalent is required plus a minimum of 4 years of relevant experience
