CI/CD Software Engineer (Continuous Integration/Continuous Development) 
Fairfax, VA
Contract to Hire (6 to 12 months for contract to hire) 
ACTIVE SECRET Clearance Required to Start

Bachelor's degree in software engineering or a related technical field is required (or equivalent experience), plus a minimum of 2 years of relevant experience; or Master's degree. Agile experience preferred.
What you will be doing:
  • Architecting and maintaining a Continual Integration (CI)/Continual Development (CD) development environment
  • Developing toolkits and scripts for external users to access CI/CD environment
  • Constructing virtual environments using virtual machines and containers
  • Creating automated test scripts to certify system performance
  • Building automated CI/CD pipeline checks including unit test, code analysis, and security instruction
Skills Needed:
  • Strong understanding of the Agile software development process
  • Experience with standard software development tools (i.e. jira, bitbucket, Bugzilla, etc.)
  • Experience with using Containers (Docker, Kubernetes, LXC) and/or Virtual Machines (QEMU/KVM, VMWare, Virtualbox)
  • Proficiency in Linux shell scripting
  • Proficiency in C++ and Java software development within a Linux environment
Would like his person to have:
  • History with the submarine Sonar system (BQQ-10)
  • Ability to configure and manage OpenShift deployments
  • Familiarity with the Risk Management Framework (RMF) process
  • Familiarity with Cloud development environments (i.e. AWS, Azure, etc.)
  • Experience with maintaining networks (physical and virtual)
  • Experience with python
  • Experience with Artifact build repositories such as Nexus
  • Knowledge of automated testing tools
Department of Defense Secret security clearance is required at time of hire. Applicants selected for the Software Engineer position will be subject to a U.S. Government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information. Due to the nature of work performed within our facilities, U.S. citizenship is required.
