Job Description

Opportunity:  Circuit Board Assembly Technician / DOD-Aerospace / State College PA (Immediate need…)
 
Due to the nature of work performed within our facilities, U.S. citizenship is required.
 
Applicants selected may be subject to a U.S. Government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information. Due to the nature of work performed within our facilities, U.S. citizenship is required.
 
Education:
High School Diploma or equivalent is required plus a minimum of 2 years of relevant experience.
 
CLEARANCE REQUIREMENTS:
Applicants selected may be subject to a U.S. Government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information. Due to the nature of work performed within our facilities, U.S. citizenship is required.
   
REPRESENTATIVE DUTIES AND TASKS:
Operate surface mount and Thru hole mfg equipment (stencil printer, pick and place machine, reflow oven, Automated Optical Inspection machine, and selective solder machine)
Follow established work instructions and procedures
Hand solder as needed utilizing a stereo microscope
Inspect boards to IPC-A-610 requirements
Navigate the information systems to find BOM & drawings
Participate in continuous improvement events & provide input as needed
Follow ESD & 6S guidelines during daily tasks


KNOWLEDGE SKILLS AND ABILITIES:
Ability to communicate clearly both verbally and in writing
General knowledge in Microsoft Office Suite
Detail oriented
Ability to multi-task and be flexible in tasks as situations change
Ability to organize a variety of types of data and activities
Ability to pick up new tasks quickly
Demonstrate a sense of urgency
Be able to stand for long periods of time
Experience in Lead free soldering a plus
Some experience with circuit board assembly equipment a plus
Experience with IPC-A-610 and J-STD-001 a plus
