Configuration Analyst II -( Bill of Materials Management) 
Sterling Heights, MI 
Yearlong Contract

Required for position:
  • 3 years of experience or more in Product Data Management (PDM) systems
  • 3 years of experience or more in MRP/Oracle user experience
Skills Required:
  • Excellent communication, organization, and interpersonal skills required;
  • Ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing;attention to detail, coupled with good time management and organization skills.
  • Ability to work independently or in a team environment.
  • Sound interpersonal and professional skills for interfacing and coordinating with company personnel, customers, and suppliers.
  • Ability to make decisions using sound judgment while complying with policies, procedures, appropriate principles and applicable state and federal laws and regulations.
  • General knowledge of Configuration/Data Management principals;
  • Understanding of mechanical drawings, specifications, Engineering change (ECR, ECO and ECPs), Product trees, Technical reports, Data items (Contract Data Requirements Lists), and military standards are desired;
  • General knowledge of mechanical and electrical design, development and manufacturing; Experience with the use of a Product Data Management (PDM) system and MRP / Oracle with regards to Bill of Material
  • Management and audit .
  • Familiarity with CAD applications, preferably PTC Creo/ProE. Understanding of Engineering / Manufacturing / Operations processes; Excellent computer skills, with a solid understanding of the typical PC applications especially MS Office Excel and Word.
Preferred: Experience with PTC Windchill PDM Bill of Material Management highly desirable. Familiarity with CAD applications, preferably PTC Creo/ProE.
 
Education: Bachelor's or Associates Degree and 2 years work experience or equivalent experience.
