Cyber Security Engineer III
Location: Aurora, Colorado
Active DOD Secret Clearance Required
Design Tomorrow's Solutions:  Safeguard client technology from Cloud Vulnerability, AI-Enhanced Cyberthreats, AI Fuzzing, Machine Learning Poisoning, Smart Contract Hacking, Social Engineering Attacks, Deepfake, and prepare Strategy to understand a company's risk appetite.
We need a Cyber Security Engineer with 4 years of experience, Security+ CE Certification and educational credentials to safeguard intelligence.
Key responsibilities:
• Planning, scheduling, and executing Assessment & Authorization (A&A) activities
• Server and Platform Security compliance & vulnerability scanning/remediation
• Security Test & Evaluation activities for program sell-off of security related requirements
• Update Information Assurance policies to Systems Architecture Plans in accordance to Compliance Requirements
• Performing hands-on technical implementation of security solutions comprised of Custom Off the Shelf (COTS) & Free and Open Source Software (FOSS) as well as custom-developed products
• Presenting briefings as required
Required Skills: 
• Active DOD Secret Security Clearance
• Hands-on technical experience as an individual contributor with documentation skills and experience in some of the following areas:
◦ Linux system administration                   ◦ Windows system administration
◦ Network component administration      ◦ VMware administration
◦ Operating system hardening                  ◦ Assessment and Authorization (NIST SP800-37, ICD 503)
  • Strong Collaboration and listening skills to ensure communication across an entire organization and within the team
  • Skilled in documenting Clear and Defined System Security Plans (SSPs) and assessments
Required Experience:
• Experience with Information Assurance controls - Data Breach, Authentication, Non-Repudiation, Virus/Malware Protection, Configuration Management, Labeling, Backing Up Data, Contingency Planning
• Four years of developing cyber security solutions, Security Authorization requirements for Department of Defense (DoD) or similar federal agency
• Experience with Risk Management Framework
• Experience using security compliance/vulnerability assessment scanning tool
• Experience performing vulnerability assessment/remediation including patch/configuration deployments 
• 8570 Certification - Security+ CE
Desired Skills:
• Experience with Systems Engineering (Requirements/Network/Software Language/Components/Verification) as well as the change proposal processes
 • Experience with Network Forensics (Tenable Security Center, Nessus, RSA NetWitness Security Analytics, or the DoD’s HBSS solution)
• Python, Bash, or Shell patch management/deployment experience
• Ability to complete tasks and objectives within the team's goals and vision
• Experience in troubleshooting Network/Server/Hardware/Software including engineering drawings in relation to repair activities
8570 Certification - CISSP preferred
Education Requirements:
Bachelor of Science in STEM: Aerospace Engineering, Systems Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Mechanical Engineering, Physics, Math, or a Science
