Job Description

FPGA Developer with TS/SCI Clearance

Location: Richardson, TX 75081
Duration: 12 months

Active TS/SCI Clearance required.

Full Benefits are available to you... if you would like them.

You will be a W-2 contract employee and work on-site at the client's location.

You know the secret incantations that only a master FPGA developer can properly cast, right?

There's nothing quite like being able to see through the multiple layers of design and development... that you can do easily... to solve complex problems with reliable solutions. That's you.

You know all about embedded processing and real-time software. You can visualize and quickly implement designs that perform bit manipulation, interfaces to encryption equipment, and do this with high performance processing.

Your expertise with Xilinx devices and flow tools, and VHDL will be focused on:
  • Gigabit Serial Interfaces
  • Electro-Optical (EO) DSP
  • Controls
  • Data Links
  • Embedded Processing
  • Ethernet Interfaces

You'll work with commercial vendors and systems engineers to develop requirements, architect new parts, partition and perform code development, simulation, place and route. And, your designs will be verified against requirements using both directed and continuous testing methodologies.

When you get started, on "day 1", you'll already be an expert with:
  • FPGA timing constraint application and closure
  • Hands on integration and debug experience with FPGA-based systems
  • Digital Signal Design processing (DSP) for FPGA devices, both programming and testing
  • Applying fixed-point analysis and conversion of floating point algorithms
  • Scripting and simulation skills

Your impact will even be faster and greater if you have experience with:
  • Mentor Graphics simulation tools
  • High-speed interface bus architectures like Ethernet, PCIe
  • C programming language
  • Scripting languages such as Perl or Python
  • Embedded systems design using Zync or ARM processors
  • Linux development environments

With your 2 years of experience in the FPGA world and a Bachelor Degree in a technical field, or 10 years of FPGA experience but don't have a degree, you're just about perfect.

Are the logic blocks looking good to you? Let's do some I/O. :-)
