Position Title: Project Management: Site Integrator
Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Business, or a related field (i.e., Economics, Marketing, Finance, Accounting, Information Management Systems, etc.). Other degrees will be considered based on project management experience. Experience: Five to Ten years (Bachelor’s), three years (Master’s) experience in at least one of the following areas: Medical Information Systems Analysis, Strategic Planning, Requirements Analysis, Project Management. Position will provide service and expertise in support of clinical and non-clinical training missions for the new MHS GENESIS EHR. Requires access to DoD networks, systems, applications or services must have an active security clearance at the time of access.
 
Responsible for MHS GENESIS Program Management at the MTF. Integrates activities of DHMSM/PEO, DHA, GSC, LPDH, and Cerner. Responsible for oversight and management of local issue resolution processes including logging, tracking, prioritizing, and managing issue resolution follow up. Coordinates with local trainers and subject matter experts to gather, document, and forward real-time data observed from the live system that is required to clarify and/or validate items working through the issue resolution and governance process. Manages databases and task management tools for tracking and prioritizing MHS GENESIS related issues and generates reports/regular updates to MTF leadership, local Informatics Steering Committee, and external oversight or support agencies. Serves as the focal point for coordinating MHS GENESIS related site visits, diagnostic assessments, and data requests. Maintains awareness of scheduled and unscheduled program updates/upgrades or configuration changes and coordinates the associated testing, training, information dissemination/change management.
1. Task : MTF Implementation Support: Support at MTFs include: Site Integrator
1.1. Integration Management
 Create and maintain MHS GENESIS site Work Breakdown Structure
 Prepare briefing materials, agendas and meeting minutes for MHS GENESIS related meetings
 Facilitate and participate in site Informatics Steering Committee activities
 Responsible for on-site resource scheduling
 Act as a change agent to instill and sustain positive change within the command as related to MHS GENESIS
1.2. Project Management
 Create an activity plan that clearly states the tasks an timelines required to meet established outcomes and objectives
 Track and facilitate action items related to implementation and sustainment
 Support and facilitate training and user role coordinators
 Support, facilitate, and execute site scheduled events
 Track and facilitate actual or forecasted slippage and delays
 Support and facilitate equipment management and coordination
1.3. Communication Management
 Liaison between the Site, Implementation team, Partnership and PMO
 Ensure clear communications, track and report external project workgroup assignments
 Foster and coordinate collaboration with all stakeholder groups
 Maintain stakeholder roster for communication needs
 Review and communicate all documents related to the project outcomes for quality
1.4. Risk Management
 Recognize and document emerging risks
 Document and maintain risk management action plans, meeting minutes/materials and communicate appropriately
 
Specific Experience Required/Desired:
Required
Three years’ experience as a PM supporting healthcare initiatives and projects
US Citizen with active SECRET or Interim Secret clearance
Electronic Health Record experience, preferably in the military setting
 
Preferred:
Three years’ experience working in the military healthcare environment
Understanding of the unique informatics architecture of the military
Operational (deployment) experience is a plus. Clinical experience (i.e. RN or HM) is a plus.
