Windows Software Integrator
 
Location: Pittsfield, MA 01201
Duration: 6-12 months, then possible direct hire
 
To qualify for this position...
  • You must be a US Citizen
  • You must be willing to undergo a deep background check to obtain a Department of Defense Secret Clearance
  • OR you already have a Secret Clearance
 
You are a Systems Integration expert who knows Windows Servers and Desktops and how to configure, install, test, deploy, maintain, and support traditional software and applications.
 
You can do this with Linux systems, too.
 
Some of the things you also know include virtualization, especially VMWare, scripting and automation technologies and methods, like PowerShell and bash.
 
Hopefully, you might even have some experience with integrations on Surface Ship Systems.
 
You will need to be instantly productive on your first day. You can do that with the following in your background (and on your resume)...
 
Required:
  • 5 years of relevant experience with a Bachelor's Degree in science, engineering, math, or technology (or equivalent experience), or a Master's degree with 3 years of experience.
  • Strong understanding of Microsoft Windows Desktop (Windows 7, 10) and Server (2008, 2016) technologies including experience with traditional software delivery and application installation processes and configurations
  • Strong understanding of Linux server technologies including experience with traditional software delivery and application installation processes and configurations
  • Strong understanding of Virtualization (VMWare) technologies
  • Experience integrating software on a common operating system
  • Experience with scripting and automation technologies, specifically PowerShell and BASH
 
Desired:
  • Experience with additional Scanning/Vulnerability Management tools (VMS, ACAS, Nessus)
  • Operating system certifications (Windows Server, RedHat Linux)
  • Security + certification, or ability to obtain Security + certification
  • Linux system administration experience
  • Experienced with designing, configuring, and securing virtual machines
  • Experience with implementing basic Windows mail servers.
  • Knowledge of Exchange 2010 & 2016.
  • Experience with group policies
  • Active Directory Administration Experience
  • Microsoft Deployment Toolkit knowledge
  • Troubleshooting skills with Active Directory Replication
  • Storage Area Network (SAN) administration
  • Data Backup Systems Administrator
  • Experience configuring SNMP on Windows servers
  • Experience supporting end-users
  • Understanding of Networking principles
  • Agile experience
