Logistics Specialist

ABOUT THE COMPANY:

• Our client is in need of 2 Logistics Specialists for a 4-6 month project. The Logistics Specialists will be responsible for inventory control from a logistics and inventory point of view. Everyday activities will include utilization scans, tagging new and rental equipment, cycle count activities, and movement of equipment between projects and facilities and preparation of equipment for disposition.
• This position is located in Lima, OH.
• This Logistics Specialist position is a great opportunity for former military or recent grads

OVERVIEW OF THE ROLE OF LOGISTICS SPECIALIST:

• Meet or exceed Inventory accuracy and accountability.
• Pick up items to be centralized.
• Process equipment to be dispositioned.
• Load and unload materials onto or from pallets, trays, racks and shelves.
• Attach identifying tags or labels to equipment.
• Assist inventory team in tagging, processing incoming or outgoing equipment.
• Assist inventory team in preparing equipment for disposition.
• Validate accuracy of fulfilled request and check for customer satisfaction as required.
• Provide accurate scans data input in order to maintain data base integrity.


QUALIFICATIONS OF THE LOGISTICS SPECIALIST:

• The logistics specialist must have a HS Diploma
• Ability to pass a Drug Test and extensive background test
• Ability to travel for training for a possible two-week period. (Expenses paid)
• Ability to work without a high degree of management intervention
• Motivated to work with integrity and provide a high level of service
• Demonstrated ability to communicate with all levels of management
• Very detail oriented and possess a strong process and result-oriented background
• Computer and tech savvy with applications like MS Office and web-enabled applications
• Former military or Recent Grads encouraged to apply
