Dispatcher

Job Description: CRG is looking for a dispatcher with a Trucking / Transportation background to provide coordination for road service emergency events. This position is a are newly created full-time role, located in the South Charlotte area, with a rapidly growing company that has an excellent culture and reputation for promoting from within!

Pay Rate: $18-20/hour depending on experience, plus excellent benefits packages, both for contract to hire and direct hire!

Hours: 11am-7pm OR 2pm - 11pm

Responsibilities:

  • Dispatch and schedule work orders utilizing technical applications such as customer service systems, field service systems, customer information systems, phone, email, etc.
  • Coordinate prompt service and repairs with vendors and technicians for customers and drivers.
  • Proactively communicate updates and issues with all parties involved.
  • Maintain detailed, accurate documentation of service events, resolutions, issues, and communication.
  • Balance competing prioritize and re-prioritize issues and emergency events as needed.
  • Prioritize requests received through multiple methods of communication, including phone, email, and company event tracking system.

Qualifications:

  • 1+ years of recent experience in Dispatching or the Transportation field required.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, required.
  • Excellent computer skills, including strong typing and ability to quickly learn new systems required.
  • Ability to be on call on weekends occasionally. (Excellent on-call bonuses paid in addition to base pay!)
