Our Manufacturing client in South Charlotte is seeking a Corporate Manufacturing Recruiter to join their team! This position offers amazing health benefits!

Talent Acquisition Manager

Salary: $85,000-92,000

Location: South West Charlotte

Hours: Monday - Friday 8:15am - 4:45pm

    Summary:

    • Assist the HR Manager with driving recruiting and process improvement initiatves for the HR team and achieve staffing objectives by recruiting candidates for a req load of 15-20 hourly manufacturing/ warehouse jobs at a time, as well as other corporate roles. 

    Responsibilities:

    • Develop recruitment strategies that meet the overall needs of the organization.  
    • Train and act as a mentor to less experienced recruiters. 
    • Visit warehouse mangers when needed to form relationships and gather job requirements and needs
    • Determine applicant requirements by studying job description and job qualifications.
    • Interview applicants; analyze responses; verify references; compare qualifications to job requirements.
    • Arrange management interviews by coordinating schedules
    • Enhance staff accomplishments by planning delivery of solutions; answering technical and procedural questions for less experienced team members; teaching improved processes; mentoring team members.
    • Study organization plans and objective and meeting with managers to discuss hiring needs.
    • Build applicant sources by researching and contacting community services, colleges, employment agencies, recruiters, media, and internet sites; providing organization information, opportunities, and benefits; making presentations; maintaining rapport.
    • Attract applicants by placing job advertisements; contacting recruiters, using newsgroups and job sites.
    • Evaluate applicants by discussing job requirements and applicant qualifications with managers; interviewing applicants on consistent set of qualifications.
    • Improve organization attractiveness by recommending new policies and practices; monitoring job offers and emphasizing benefits and perks.
    • Avoid legal challenges by understanding current legislation; enforcing regulations with managers; recommending new procedures; conducting training.

    Requirements:

    • Degree highly preferred, but not required
    • Must have 5+ years of full-cycle Manufacturing Plant Recruiting experience in multiple states
    • Must experience traveling to manufacturing plants in multiple states and discovering creative sourcing strategies
    • Must have demonstrated process improvement and leadership experience 
    • Must be a team player, self-starter, organized, and detailed
