This key position will provide financial guidance and advise the Regional Vice President in making recommendations that will drive improvements in overall financial performance. Additionally, this position would require significant partnering with the Business Operations Manager and other members of the organization on strategic initiatives including the annual budget, monthly forecasts, and other key tasks. 

Essential Duties and Responsibilities 

• Become the expert on reviewing financial performance for each branch within the Region. 

• Provide financial leadership and oversight on operational scorecards and key performance indicators (KPIs) with the Regional Vice President and Regional Leadership team.  

• Partner with the Regional Accounting Controller on monthly and annual financial performance to better understand fluxes within the business versus budget and prior periods. 

• Lead the annual budget process as the point person for the Region in terms of Revenue, Margin, SG&A, Capex and Headcount needs. 

• Communicate with the Regional Leadership team about how company-wide initiatives will have a financial impact on the Region. 

• Assist the Business Operations Manager on process improvement initiatives that will drive additional value to the Region. 

• Assist with leading the Region into a transition to a new Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system which includes coaching and guiding users, assisting with change management and data validation. 

• Partner with the Regional Accounting Controller on all tests of internal controls including but not limited to the physical count of inventory, rental assets and other fixed assets. 

• Partner with all areas of the organization including but not limited to Production, Sales, Rental, Service, Shared Services and other functions on strategic initiatives. 

Required Skills and Qualifications 

• BBA or BS in Finance, Accounting or Business Management. 

• 1-3 years of reviewing financial statements and/or performance metrics and communicating results to senior management. 

• Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug test. 

• Ability to effectively communicate with key stakeholders at various levels within an organization. 

• Proven track record of working with wide variety of people to implement business change.  

  • Proficient fluency with data and financial reporting in Excel.  

• Self-starter with the ability to streamline functions and passion to learn and grow. 

• Comfort dealing with ambiguity and ability to work independently. 

• Experience working with and presenting to senior executives. 

• Must possess excellent communication and presentation skills, and be comfortable interacting with executive-level management. 

• Very proficient with Excel formulas, functions and data organization. 

• Strong quantitative and analytical competency 

• Intermediate knowledge of Excel 

• Prior experience with Power Bi or other comparable business analytical tool experience (ex. Hyperion Baseness, Business Objects, etc.)

Working Conditions 

• Majority of work performed in an office setting 

• Work as scheduled with punctual attendance, Monday-Friday plus any additional hours/days necessary to meet business demands. 

Physical Requirements 

• Occasional lifting of 10-50 pounds 

• Ability to sit for at least 8 hours per day
