SUMMARY

The Inside Sales Support role performs duties related to the profitable sales and customer retention while projecting a positive image of the company. This role works directly with the company’s customers and staff to ensure we deliver on-time and on-budget products that meets the customer’s needs in a profitable manner. 

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

  • Respond swiftly too all inquiries and requests from the field for Sales quotes and work with vendors as needed on product information and pricing.

Archive quotes and create historical data of active and inactive quotes per salesman, per category type, and reasons for quotes turning to inactive status.

Coordinate Transport of outgoing sold units, new inventory disperses through the region from the factory, store to store scheduling of moves, as needed.

Help in generating MPO’s and LPO’s (PO’s) to the transport companies for the moves.

Disseminate product information and knowledge to the internal and external sales team.

Contact customers at Account Managers’ request and speak about project information from the client to allow quoting and closing of business opportunity.

Use quote process, close the business and coordinate required resources (i.e. product information, actual build specifications and manage the ordering and installation of equipment.

Update Karmak with equipment moves, update inventory on the yard, and manage and maintain the integrity of our whole goods inventory.

Assist the Sales team in quote creation and modification to meet client RFQ requirements.

Help the Sales staff work in Sales Force, Karmak, SOARR, and required company documentation.

Perform additional duties as assigned.

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

Education & Experience 

Associates degree or other relevant college degree plus proven aptitude for role.

Non-Degreed: 3 years proven experience in a similar role.

Experience with heavy equipment sales, services or dealerships.

Must have existing knowledge experience with creating truck and or equipment/ specifications.

Clerical — Knowledge of administrative and clerical procedures and systems such as word processing, managing files and records, stenography and transcription, designing forms, and other office procedures and terminology.

Mathematics — Knowledge of arithmetic, algebra, geometry, statistics, and their applications.

Customer and Personal Service — Knowledge of principles and processes for providing customer and personal services. This includes customer needs assessment, meeting quality standards for services, and evaluation of customer satisfaction.

Proficiency in the English language — Knowledge of the structure and content of the English language including the meaning and spelling of words, rules of composition, and grammar. Bilingual capability not required, but a plus.

Attitude: This job requires "people" skills and a genuine desire to service the client. A positive attitude and willingness to maintain a professional demeanor with clients and team members is essential to this position.

Attendance – The ability to work as scheduled with punctual attendance 7:45 am-5:00 pm, Monday-Friday plus any additional hours/days necessary in order to meet business demands.

Ability to work in a common office environment, including office machines, chemicals, and environments.

Oral Expression and comprehension — The ability to communicate information and ideas in speaking so others will understand. The ability to listen to and understand information and ideas presented through spoken words and sentences. The ability to speak clearly so others can understand you.

Written Comprehension and expression — The ability to read and understand information and ideas presented in writing. The ability to communicate information and ideas in writing so others will understand.

Reasoning — The ability to apply general rules to specific problems to produce answers that make sense. The ability to tell when something is wrong or is likely to go wrong then proposing solutions to the problem.

Manual dexterity – The ability to type or operate common office equipment up to 8 hours per day, 40 hours per week.

Sitting – The ability to sit or stand for long periods of time while performing duties up to 8 hours per day, 40 hours per week.

Lifting – The ability to bend, stoop and lift up to 10 lbs.
