Continuous Process Improvement
 
Under the direction of the Administrative Director of Operations, the Director of Continuous Process Improvement has direct responsibility for ensuring cost efficiency, time efficiency, clinical quality, clinical effectiveness and a positive patient experience throughout the Dayton Physicians Network.
 
The Director, Continuous Process Improvement will partner with the CEO, directors, managers, and our physicians to support continual process improvement activities.  This includes measuring, mapping and benchmarking all aspects of the cost and the efficiency of providing care as well as tracking and benchmarking clinical quality and patient outcomes. To ensure the highest quality of patient care and efficient and economical operations, the Director, Continuous Process Improvement will lead the organization and teams in process improvement and Lean initiatives.  The Director, Continuous Process Improvement will facilitate workflow analysis and Rapid Process Improvement work to identify and eliminate waste and set standards of work in line with the most current evidence based medicine. Additionally, the Director, Continuous Process Improvement will work to ensure a positive patient experience across all service lines and DPN locations.

 
Preferred Training and Background:
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Organizational Development, Business administration, or related degree.
  • 6+ years of experience in leadership.
  • Lean, Six Sigma, TQM, or other process improvement experience with certification preferred.
  • Strong experience leading teams in process improvement, work redesign, and project management.
  • Team-centered leader with demonstrated ability to lead people to accomplish goals and to make changes to the status quo.
