Job Title: Purchasing Coordinator
Location: Central Business Office / Vandalia, Ohio

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Identify, evaluate and recommend organizational savings opportunities through analyzing organizational spend
  • Lead supplier selection process, contract negotiations and ongoing vendor management efforts
  • Manage supplier spend reporting process, creating meaningful and useful analysis that identifies major purchase categories, key potential partnerships, supporting product standardization and driving purchasing compliance.
  • Maintain contracts repository and contract tracking and renewal process
  • Work closely with suppliers, distributors, key stakeholders, operations, accounts payable, revenue cycle and legal counsel to execute business strategy and implement plans.
  • Establish and maintain engaging relationships with senior leadership, operations management, clinical specialists
  • Project Management in collaboration with the CFO.
Supervisory Responsibilities:
  • As Assigned
Required Education and/ or Experience:
  • Position requires an Associate’s Degree or higher
  • Minimum of 3 years strategic sourcing and contracting experience
  • Strong negotiation skills
  • Ability to influence and impact organizational change
  • Experience working with group purchasing organizations and other distributors of health care products and services
General Skill Requirements:
  • Excellent oral and written communication
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel and Outlook.  
  • Experience working with a Practice Management system.
  • Attendance and punctuality are essential requirements of this position to provide excellent customer service to both our internal and external stakeholders.
Physical/ Mental Demands:
  • Able to prioritize and manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • Able to work independently and without direction
  • Able to effectively and concisely communicate complex data and ideas
