Job Description

JOB SUMMARY:  

The Communication Administrator will be responsible for assisting in the coordination of clinic phone, fax, and internet setup for new clinics, renovations, and relocations. This position will work within the information technology department and will work closely with the Operations and Service Desk Teams. This position will coordinate with low voltage vendors, telco and ISP providers, and project managers during the construction phase. This position will also coordinate service upgrades where needed and troubleshoot service issues with locations.

QUALIFICATIONS: 

Associate’s degree in business, construction management, Telecommunications, IT, or a related field and 2 to 3 years’ experience providing support for multiple projects and assignments in a fast-paced environment. IT service or telco background and experience is a plus.

Experience:

The candidate will be a self-starter and exhibit superior professional judgment, analytical and communication skills as well as a high attention to detail and ability to work in a team environment. Must be able to successfully multi-task and prioritize. Being deadline driven with a sense of urgency is also a key qualification.

Skills:

The successful candidate will be highly organized and astute, able to pay close attention to detail, and possess excellent communication skills in order to effectively interface with our dynamic management team, co-workers, vendors and customers.

Job Functions:

Assisting in the coordination of phone and internet services. Managing and maintaining ongoing repair and troubleshooting items.  Coordinating with IT and the field to set up new services.  Termination and relocation of services for clinics. Reviewing service contracts and ordering the appropriate services.  Assisting clinics with setup of phones, fax machines, and user guides.  Working with low voltage vendors to troubleshoot wiring for data and scheduling. Assisting with equipment ordering and placement for phone equipment.  Assisting with management of the phone system for the Business Office.  Any other administrative duties as assigned.

Travel:

Occasional travel to local facilities or vendors as needed.
