Being a Memory Maker as a Credit Controller

In this role, you will become part of the Edwardian family and work within Finance in Radisson Blu Edwardian Heathrow

Prepare and reconcile food, beverage and rooms revenues in accordance with Radisson Blu Edwardian standards through effective translation of daily functions and meetings activities from paper information to collectable invoices (billing).

The Role

  • Ensure a timely collection of Accounts Receivable with emphasis on client telephone contact and thorough follow-up procedures.
  • Maintain aged debtors within monthly guidelines established by Credit Control Manager.
  • Pro-actively research outstanding receivables to determine reason for non-payment and take appropriate action.
  • Work with operations team to resolve any billing client issues.
  • Follow up with clients in respect of aged debt, part payments, unapplied payments and disputes.
  • Ensure that accurate records and files are maintained.
  • Highlight any specific client account collection issues.
  • Assist with month end closing processes
  • Process applications for credit facilities by referring to the credit rating agency to determine the credit limit we may offer to the customers
  • Ensure all clients needs meet with corporate accounting practices.
  • Communicate with customers with a view to recovering their outstanding accounts
  • Liaise with the units to resolve the customers' queries so that the accounts are settled with a minimum of delay
  • Creates 100% guest satisfaction by providing the Radisson Blu experience through performance that demonstrates the standards of genuine hospitality and exceeding guest expectations.
  • Provides employees with the training and resources they need to maximize employee engagement and deliver Yes I Can service and teamwork
  • Communicates and reinforces the vision for Yes I Can service to employees
  • Ensures that employees provide Yes I Can genuine hospitality and teamwork on an ongoing basis
  • Provides Yes I Can genuine hospitality and teamwork on an ongoing basis
  • Seeks opportunities to improve the customer experience by seeking customer feedback and reviewing management reports and developing strategies to improve department and hotel services
  • Provides employees with the tools, training and environment they need to deliver Yes I Can service and teamwork

 

Key Requirements

 

The Requirements

Graduate, part-qualified (or qualified by experience) accountant, with a minimum of five years of financial management experience in the hotel or service sector.

  • Ability to maintain high standards of work and accuracy with attention to detail.
  • Client focused approach to work.
  • A record of demonstrable personal achievement with proven management skills.
  • Excellent communication skills (verbal and written) and ability to liaise effectively with non-financial staff.
  • Team player with outstanding inter-personal, negotiation and organizational skills.
  • IT literate with experience of ERP systems and Microsoft Office Suite
