Being a Memory Maker as a Group Training Manager

In this role, you will become part of the Edwardian family and work within Human Resources in Radisson Blu Edwardian New Providence Wharf

To ensure our employees have the right learning and development to support them in their roles and develop skills. This work contributes to the goal of 100% engagement of employees who commit to EHL and enjoy coming to work to wow our customers.

 



Duties and Responsibilities

 

Delivers Induction and mandatory trainings

Works with HODs, Employees and Management to ensure all mandatory and optional training courses are attended and completed as required

Design, implementation and management of employee, management and leadership training programmes and courses to meet company operational, financial and cultural goals

Administrates and promotes the internal LMS

Ensures that all the training equipment and rooms are up to the required standards

Conduct individual, group and organisational training and development needs analyses and assessments

Reviews outcomes of all appraisals with the HOD teams, to ensure development needs are met, promoting Career Development in the company

Completes all day to day administrational requirements of all L and D issues

Attend departmental meetings whenever possible

Ensure that you are consistently giving feedback to HODs and staff members

Fully engage and participate in the roll-out and launch of new employee corporate branding initiatives

Key Requirements

 

Key Requirements

 

Proven experience in Learning and Development

CIPD or equivalent qualification

Understands the positioning of the hotel and company within the hospitality industry

IT applications: Microsoft Office suite of applications, LMS

Has a good level of knowledge regarding adult learning principles and understands a wide range of training techniques, methods and formats

Ability to design, develop, implement and analyse training plans and courses

Excellent communication skills (verbal and written) and ability to liaise effectively with non-financial staff

Team player with outstanding inter-personal, negotiation and organizational skills

The ability to demonstrate a YIC attitude to both the internal and external customer

Ensures that his/her work is accurate and thorough by maintaining standards to a high degree

Has the ability to demonstrate personal ownership of tasks and follow through to get the required results

To get things done through personal influence and credibility is effective at building relationships with others
