In this role, you will become part of the Edwardian family and work within Food Production in The May Fair

We are currently recruiting for a Head Chef for our In-Room Dining and Meetings & Events Departments

Overview:
•A great opportunity to join The May Fair Hotel team.
•As Head Chef you will support the Executive Chef in the implementation end execution of the May Fair’s culinary concept.
•Direct the brigade to ensure a high level of food is executed across these departments.
•Ensure guest expectations are exceeded and seeks opportunities to improve the guest experience by seeking feedback, and evaluating service levels.
•Implementing and developing food strategies to improve where necessary.

 

 

The Requirements

Current in depth knowledge of working in a high end fresh food restaurant or hotel restaurant operation of rosette standard.

Capable of demonstrating outstanding leadership, coaching and change management with a strategic approach.


Ability to manage and achieve budgetary goals by analysing historical data, forecasts and revenues.


Has the ability to demonstrate personal ownership of tasks and will ensure completion to achieve the required results.


Proven track record of achieving outstanding levels of personal and departmental targets in order to meet and exceed expectations whilst delivering outstanding attention to detail and precision.
