Being a Memory Maker as a Cluster Reservations/ Call Centre Agent

In this role, you will become part of the Edwardian family and work within Central Reservations in Radisson Blu Edwardian Sussex

The Role

  • Processes correspondence and files all reservations accurately to facilitate easy referral
  • Confirms, modifies and cancels reservations as needed
  • Provides specific information on room availability, rates, upgrades, packages, amenities and other information requested by the caller as needed while using approved call-handling guidelines.
  • Maximizes occupancy and average rate by offering a variety of rates and promotional packages in line with the business and guest needs
  • Takes responsibility for knowing key accounts and building /maintaining relationships with all guests, companies and agents
  • Maintains a professional and courteous attitude at all times while maintaining control of calls
  • Converting e-mail/ Fax room reservation requests into reservations within defined service levels, ensuring all details are accurate
  • Stays current with developments in the hotel and the current special offers/ promotions/ packages
  • Ensure correct telephone procedures are adhered to including quality service standards
  • Ensure all daily tasks are completed in line with the defined departmental standards and Service Level Agreements
  • Processes customer credit and billing information in accordance with hotel policy

 

Key Requirements

 

Key Requirements

  • Natural telesales ability (voice tone, comfort closing sales, etc.)
  • Ability to effectively listen and position hotels to meet guests needs
  • High level of hotel product and services knowledge
  • Technical knowledge of hotel booking systems
  • High level of business communication and good command of English
  • Interpersonal skills to deal effectively with all business contacts
  • Excellent command of the English language
  • Confident ability to communicate establish rapport
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule
