Being a Memory Maker as a Central Operations Support Manager

In this role, you will become part of the Edwardian family and work within Front of House in Radisson Blu Edwardian Heathrow

The Role

To direct the hotel's Business Support department and operations to provide effective and efficient service to the Service Excellence team to meet customer satisfaction, colleague satisfaction and profitability goals

Key Requirements

 

The Requirements

  • Understands the strategic positioning of the hotel and the company within the competitive market
  • Understands the tools of financial management and uses them to predict and affect the hotel’s position
  • Improve decision making by clarifying and setting goals, sharing perspectives on reality, identifying options and creating consensus on a way forward.
  • IT applications Micros, Opera, Caspro, Guest Plus
  • Supports the daily business support operation with accountability of achieving service and standards targets
  • Supports hotel administration functions
  • Supports hotel housekeeping functions
  • Supports hotel maintenance functions
  • Supports the Second Effort system
  • Takes overall responsibility for staff satisfaction in the business support department
  • Sets objectives for each department within the Operations Support Team and manages the team leaders
  • Selects, trains, develops, recognizes, coaches, evaluates and manages the performance of all staff in the business support team
  • Recruits and selects qualified staff
  • Analyses and controls costs, in order to maintain positive cash flow and to maximize profitability
  • Monitors and controls equipment, staffing and employee performance on a daily basis, taking corrective action where necessary
  • Determines appropriate staffing levels, to maintain a balance between operational demands, profitability and employee preferences
  • Analyses business results on a regular basis and takes actions to improve results as appropriate
  • Establishes a cross-disciplined culture, which encourages employees to build strong working relations across all teams and to respect different roles and responsibilities
  • Good command of the English language
