Being a Memory Maker as a Restaurant & Bar Manager

In this role, you will become part of the Edwardian family and work within Food & Beverage in The May Fair

The Role

  • As Restaurant and Bar Manager you will be fully responsible for the day to day restaurant and Bar operation, ensuring high standards are met at all times.
  • Possess a friendly yet disciplined approach with outstanding customer service skills, and be immaculately presented.
  • A natural leader, who will ensure the team are well trained and briefed at all times.
  • We are looking for a passionate, knowledgeable individual who has excellent organisation and communication skills.
  • As Restaurant and Bar Manager you must have great Food and beverage product knowledge, with an awareness of menus and pricing
  • You will have a good knowledge of quality fresh food, a sound understanding of wine, and excellent customer service skills, with the natural ability to motivate and coach your team to meet the standards expected.
  • Has the ability to communicate with, and motivate employees to sustain high performance and quality levels but most of all an unquestionable enthusiasm to lead and develop you and your team
  • Excellent organisational skills are also required for this demanding role.
  • Takes overall responsibility for guest and staff satisfaction, by managing the restaurant operations
  • Seeks opportunities to improve the guest experience by seeking feedback, and evaluating service levels, and developing strategies to improve areas of concern

Key Requirements


The Requirements

  • You must have a minimum 2 years experience as an experienced restaurant and bar assistant manager or restaurant and Bar manager in a 4/5 star hotel or restaurant.
  • A team player, and be fully involved in every aspect of service.
  • To maintain the high Service Excellence standards that are expected you will need to have a strong Food and Beverage background with an excellent local area awareness.
  • Understanding of the industry and competitors
  • Is able to develop and guide others in professional growth and performance
  • Have a good level of food product knowledge, and an understanding of food preparation techniques
  • Ability to deliver high standards and consistency at all times
