Being a Memory Maker as a Revenue Controller

In this role, you will become part of the Edwardian family and work within Finance in The May Fair

The Role

To safeguard and grow the value of the hotel asset by serving as a business partner, consulting on ways to maximize financial results and assisting the Financial Controller in directing the finance department

Key Requirements

 

The Requirements

  • Graduate, part-qualified (or qualified by experience) accountant, with a minimum of five years financial management experience in the hotel or service sector.
  • Ability to maintain high standards of work and accuracy with attention to detail.
  • Client focused approach to work.
  • A record of demonstrable personal achievement with proven management skills.
  • Ability to manage large, complex projects and develop cross-functional support.
  • Excellent communication skills (verbal and  written) and ability to liaise effectively with non-financial staff.
  • Team player with outstanding inter-personal, negotiation and organizational skills.
  • Client focused approach to work.
  • IT literate with experience of accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite
  • Timeliness and accuracy of financial reporting
  • To develop and implement accounting and finance strategies that support achievement of the hotels goals
  • To monitor status regularly and provide feedbacks as appropriate
  • To develop and implement financial goals which are aligned with the hotels objectives and internal control practices
  • Assist the Financial Controller on goals to optimize financial results
  • To provide hotel team with reports and information that can be used as a basis for improved decision making.
  • To counsel the hotel team on ways to maximize profits and cash flow.
  • To ensure that all revenue posted is accurate and corrected if necessary in accordance to the company standards and practices.
  • Assist the Financial Controller to develop and implement financial and accounting practices and perform a variety of control functions
  • To ensure that accounting practices adhere to legal requirements and Radisson Blu Edwardian standards.
  • To align practices with internal and external audit recommendations
  • Creates 100% guest satisfaction by providing the Radisson Blu experience through performance that demonstrates the standards of genuine hospitality and exceeding guest expectations.
  • Provides employees with the training and resources they need to maximize employee engagement and deliver Yes I Can service and teamwork
  • Communicates and reinforces the vision for Yes I Can  service to employees
  • Ensures that employees provide Yes I Can genuine hospitality and teamwork on an ongoing basis
  • Provides Yes I Can genuine hospitality and teamwork on an ongoing basis
  • Seeks opportunities to improve the customer experience by seeking customer feedback and reviewing management reports and developing strategies to improve department and hotel services
  • Provides employees with the tools, training and environment they need to deliver Yes I Can service and teamwork
