Being a Memory Maker as a Sales Executive

In this role, you will become part of the Edwardian family and work within Sales in Radisson Blu Edwardian Heathrow



 Essential Functions

 

To achieve assigned revenue target from portfolio of existing clients, and new prospect clients.

To achieve profit target, and customer and colleague satisfaction goals.

Understanding of corporate sales and business development processes are prerequisites.

 



 Duties and Responsibilities

 

Generate new Business across all Edwardian Hotels London hotels by daily researching, qualifying and processing new leads from all sources; competitive reporting, internal and external leads, databases, proactive research

Optimise rooms revenue and M&E revenue from clients within assigned industry sectors

Create awareness of the brands within the customer portfolio and execute specific strategies set by the company’s commercial sales leadership

Produce update reports (activity and production)

Attend team meetings and sales meetings and present updates on client activity and financial achievements

Execute marketing activities set by the company’s marketing division to increase awareness in the local, regional and wider markets

Maintain extensive product knowledge to ensure that the appropriate. Proposition / solution is presented to each customer

Negotiate and close contracts with customers

Organise and attend client visits, family trips and entertaining

Develop partnerships and strong relations with key internal stakeholders

Track and record business production and activity using available tools

Consistently deliver timely and effective follow up at all times

Assist in organising and attending exhibitions, trade shows, networking events etc. as required

Good business development skills, prospecting, presenting, negotiating, closing

Good account management skills, penetrating client organisations, reporting and reviewing production from client portfolio

Excellent communication skills (written, spoken, presentation wise)

Ability to maximize impact, maintain interest, and establish a rapport with key external and internal stakeholders

Understand and capitalise on the brand and the hotels value proposition

Commercial understanding of the cost/benefits of prospective business and vendor contracts

Ability to negotiate contracts which result in mutually beneficial outcomes

Strong industry knowledge of competitors, Consortia agreements, and corporate hotel programmes
