About the Position:

We are seeking an experienced Full Stack .NET Developer to join our team of 16 IT professionals. We offer an excellent work environment, with the opportunity for growth across a variety of modern technology platforms. The successful candidate will work with a team of 3 full stack developers, supporting a statewide network of providers and will be working for an employer that is interested in staff development through trainings and open communication. About the Environment:

This position is overseen by the Lead Developer and reports to the Chief, Information Systems. Our environment consists of a statewide network of 6 distinct providers with 23 Locations, over 500 users, who service over 60,000 clients a year. Our IT environment includes over 100 servers, Docker, Rancher, GIT, Microsoft Team Foundation Server, VMware, Cisco Network & VoIP Infrastructure, Network Faxing, Exchange Clustering, SQL Farm, SharePoint, and IIS. Our web and development applications are used by clients, partners and internal staff. We adhere to weekly sprints and utilize JIRA for project planning. Code reviews happen weekly towards the end of each sprint.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES
•      Full stack end-to-end software development; from gathering requirements to production rollout, version control and support, ensuring deliverables and quality goals are met.

•      Work with Lead Developer and other colleagues to identify dependencies and consequences as well as understand technical implications of development requests and paths available.

•      Participate in story grooming, peer code review and project planning.

•      Adhere to established programming best practices and procedures, including security best practices.

•      Assist with strategic visioning.
OTHER RESPONSIBILITIES
•      Ensure software projects are thoroughly documented.

•      Assist with SharePoint administration and legacy applications support, pending migrations.

•      Provide support for internally developed applications and websites.

•      Research and recommend technologies relevant to our environment and business goals.

•      Maintain up-to-date knowledge on emerging technologies, industry trends, and best practices.
 REQUIRED SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS
•             Significant relevant experience.

•             Experience programming in .NET, C#, Entity Framework, HTML, CSS, JavaScript.

•             Experience writing SQL Queries.

•             Experience with end to end testing.

•             Capable of requirements gathering.

•             Experience with Version Control (ex. GIT, TFS).  

•             Capable of debugging.

•             Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

•             Excellent collaboration skills.

•             Excellent problem solving skills.

 
ADDITIONAL SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE SOUGHT
•      Understanding of Mobile First Design; Bootstrap and Material standards.

•      Data structures and Object-Oriented Programming.

•      Automation (Builds, Testing, Deployments).

•      Knowledge of design patterns (Unit Of Work, Factory, Repository).

•      SharePoint programming and administration.

•      Programming in .NET CORE, HTML5, CSS3, Angular (or similar front-end framework).

•      Docker

•      Rancher
