We are looking for an Activities Assistant to join our growing team!

We provide post-acute services, rehabilitative services, skilled nursing, short and long-term care through Registered Nurses. This is complemented by Therapy services, Social Services, Activities, Nutritional Services. With over 100 years of combined experience, our staff of professionals is here to meet the needs of each and every patient and resident.

The Activities Assistant develops, plans, coordinates, and implements and evaluates resident activities to enhance their psychosocial, physical, emotional and spiritual well-being by performing the following functions adhering to the facilities policies and procedures as outlined below.

Job Requirements

Requirements include:

  • Experience in a Skilled Nursing environment preferred.
  •  Must be a qualified therapeutic recreation specialist or an activities professional who is licensed or registered, as required, by the State of Florida and is eligible for certification as a therapeutic recreation specialist or as an activity professional by a recognized accrediting body or;
  • Has 2 years experience in a social or recreational program within the last 5 years, 1 of which was full-time in a patient/resident activities program in a healthcare setting.
