The CRD is responsible for determining the resident/patient's acuity level and further documents the patient/resident medical records.  In doing so the CRD must adhere to all state and federal regulations while following company policies and procedures.

Responsibilities include:

  • assess and determine the care level required for all new admissions; maintains accurate records of assessments
  • assume accountability of all care-plan changes
  • generates appropriate forms to the appropriate regulating agency to document acuity level changes
  • communicate changes in acuity levels to appropriate parties (i.e. Medical Director, Admissions Director, and DON)
  • coordinates the interdisciplinary plan of care and facilitates that care-planning team along with schedule


Job Requirements

To be considered we ask that you also meet the following minimum criteria:

  • FL-licensed Registered Nurse - REQUIRED
  • 2 years of Clinical Reimbursement/MDS experience - REQUIRED
  • Excellent customer service skills; dedication and commitment to providing excellent healthcare services to our residents and patients
  • Excellent ability to operate effectively and efficiently in an enthusiastic, team-oriented work environment
  • exemplary customer service skills, especially as it pertains to residents, patients and family members
  • the ability to artfully and factually develop and implement care plans, and communicate said care plans to appropriate parties
  • comprehensive knowledge of Medicare and Medicaid reimbursement
  • ability to quickly recognize and identify symptoms and make decisions based on changes in acuity level
  • exceptional orgnaization skills and detail-oriented
