Facility Support Company is Hiring a Traveling Risk Manager

We are searching for a licensed RN leader to provide Risk Management Support. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of two years experience as an established DON or three years in a risk management role. The Facility Risk Manager is responsible for planning, organizing and coordinating the Risk Management program. The Risk Manager collaborates with the NHA, DON, Facility Staff, Physicians, Residents, and Resident Representatives to evaluate and make available the provision of quality care. The Risk Manager accomplishes this through a proactive auditing and monitoring program, identification of potential risk concerns and in response to events, with the subsequent formulation of solutions to alleviate these problems through the facility’s QA&A Compliance Program.


Job Requirements


1.      Associate Degree in nursing required, Bachelors preferred

2.      Previous Risk management experience preferred

3.      Knowledge and understanding of State and Federal reporting process. 

4.      Ability to provide leadership and problem solving skills

5.      Proficiency in verbal, written and computer communication skills

6.       Licensed or eligible for licensure by the state in which you provide consultative services

7.       Ability to travel and work off hours as business needs

8.      Ability to work in a “Matrix” management environment

9.      CPR certification
