Job Description

The FLST BHCC Executive Director will report to the FLST BHCC Leadership Team and will provide strategic vision, leadership, direction, and oversight over all aspects of administration, finance, contracting, information systems, policies, communications, and day-to-day operations of the organization.

 Minimum Qualifications: • Bachelor’s degree in Health or Business Administration or a related field required, Master’s degree preferred (MBA, MPH, MA) • Outstanding oral and written communication skills required including engaging and persuasive public speaking, including conflict resolution skills, and ability to translate and present on complex topics. • 7-10 years’ experience in behavioral and/or physical health care industry with increasing responsibility including staff management required and 5 years’ experience with provider, vendor management and contracting required • Strong ethics and values with a business acumen to build network excellent financial, operational and regulatory compliance. • Mastery developing and building relationships with agencies, businesses, foundations, elected officials and other individuals. Experience obtaining grant funding and managing grants. • Strong quantitative skills including the ability to identify trends, analyze and interpret financial and utilization data required. Demonstrated initiative and creative problem-solving along with the flexibility to implement change quickly required. • Experience managing staff and governance committee structure. • Ability to flex between day-to-day operational details and strategic work • Understanding of population health management principles and strategies, both for rural and urban populations, and specifically attuned to the Medicaid population. Understanding of social determinants of health and primary care/behavioral health integration, and associated providers and community-based organizations. Supervisory Responsibilities: The FLST BHCC Executive Director supervises the FLST BHCC Data Analyst, contracted professional service providers and FLST BHCC staff. The Executive Director will oversee human resources tasks including recruitment, onboarding/training, staff supervision and evaluations.
