Job Description

Major Duties and Responsibilities: The HCBS Licensed Behavioral Health Provider is an active member in the FLACRA team and provides services identified and approved through HARP Care Management and Managed Care Organization (MCO) to clients with who meet eligibility criteria for HCBS services.

Under the supervision of the Licensed Program Director the HCBS Unlicensed Behavioral Health Provider will function to provide the following service types:

• Ongoing Supported Employment (OSE)

• Intensive Supported Employment (ISE)

• Transitional Employment (TE)

• Community Psychiatric Support and Treatment (CPST)

Each service type is defined in the New York State: Health and Recovery Plan (HARP) Adult Behavioral Health Home and Community Based Services (BH HCBS) Provider Manual.

Job Requirements

Minimum Qualifications:

• Professional staff means practitioners possessing a license or a permit from the New York State Education Department who are qualified by credentials, training, and experience to provide direct services related to the treatment of mental illness and substance use disorders.

• Qualified Licensures include: CRC, LCAT (or Permit), Licensed Psychoanalsyt, Licensed Psychologist, LMFT (or Permit), LMHC (or Permit), physician, PA, psychiatrist, RN, LMSW or LCSW

• Staff should have knowledge in the following areas: disability accommodations and assistive technology, financial aid, student loan default, SUD recovery resources on campus, etc.
