Job Description

The Senior Director of Maxwell Hall is oversight of residential programming, supervision, staffing, and coordination of care on Maxwell North and South. This is a 44-bed facility. The following duties will apply:

Duties 1. Develop and maintain acceptable standards of practice for program planning, implementation, and evaluation. 2. Assures programmatic success with attaining monthly program performance and statistical goals and objectives. 3. Maintains knowledge of agency developments and community needs. 4. Oversight for the daily MDT’s of the program and Oversight of clinical supervisions for Maxwell 5. Oversight of compliance of case records. 6. Provide routine clinical supervision to staff and is required to participate in the on-call rotation. 7. Maintain required reporting, records and statistics as directed. 8. Develops and maintains positive and effective relationships with community groups, referral sources and service agencies. 9. Oversight of recruiting, screening, and interviews prospective staff. 10. Oversight of accessing staff’s training needs and assist in the development of those needs. 11. Oversight of NHO checklist and submission to HR. 12. Works collaboratively with the Marketing and Public Relations coordinator and participates in community presentations and training programs. 13. Provides for monthly reports to the VP of Residential services based identified metrics. 14. Responsible for providing a positive work environment reflective of the organization’s mission and values. 15. Fosters relationships between departments to assure continuity of care. 16. Assures that all policies, procedures and practices conform to Federal, State, county and local laws and codes. 17. Oversight of establishing and maintaining a high-quality therapeutic milieu.

Job Requirements

Minimum Qualifications: A Qualified Health Professional (QHP) required, minimum of five years supervisory and behavioral health experience required. CASAC strongly preferred. Maintain acceptable standards of program planning and performance. Must have a valid NYS Driver’s License
