Job Description

This is a great opportunity for an Associate Investigator with a major client in Wilmington, DE.  This is a contract position that is scheduled to last at least 5 months.  The hours are Monday through Friday from 8am to 5pm with a starting pay rate of $32.59 per hour.
 
  • Process Piloting & Materials Scale-Up 
  • Perform polymer synthesis in a kilo-lab environment. 
  • Carry out monomer purification, polymerization and processing steps using 5L – 100L reactors, and matching-scale tanks, filtration, and other support equipment. 
  • Collecting and analyzing samples and verifying product meets requirements. 
  • Some Clean Room operations required
  • Obtaining, loading, unloading, transporting, storing and staging of materials. 
  • Meet fast paced business demands for materials supply. 
  • Manage and maintain laboratories and reaction equipment, including writing SOPs, training other operators, equipment maintenance and upkeep, cleaning & developing cleaning procedures, and leading and documenting safety reviews. 
  • Accurately follow and maintain detailed batch records
  • Optimize individual process steps and equipment setup & design, including downstream processing methods to be carried out on commercial scale.
