Position Summary:

The Central Supply Coordinator/Staff Scheduler is responsible for providing supplies and equipment in an efficient manner, in accordance with established procedures to various departments in the facility and managing the facility staffing schedule. They will maintain supply and storage rooms in a safe, clean, and orderly condition and ensure that all established safety procedures and precautions are followed. They will also have the responsibility of checking invoices, purchase orders, packing slips, etc. with incoming merchandise. With the various responsibilities and access to sensitive information, it is essential that they maintain total confidentiality of all pertinent patient care information in order to ensure patient/ rights are protected at all times. In addition to these core responsibilities, this employee is responsible for scheduling staff in an effective and efficient manner.

Qualifications:

  • Ideal candidate must be a skilled communicator, director, and motivator.
  • Must have at minimum a High School Diploma or equivalent G.E.D
  • Able to organize and prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Ideal candidate must be a caring individual dedicated to providing high quality care to our residents/patients
  • Must possess a current, unencumbered license to practice as a CNA in the state of Texas
  • Must possess a current, state approved Medication Administration certificate valid in the state of Texas
  • Ability to utilize both local and company resources in the execution or job responsibilities.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in health care central supply position.
  • Must speak, read, and write fluently in English
  • Must have reliable transportation
