Position Summary:

The CNA/Bath Aide will assist patients/residents with showering/bathing, including shampooing, shaving, combing hair, dressing appropriately, and nail care in accordance with the patient/resident assignment schedule made out by the charge nurse. They will also report and skin problems with the charge nurse, lift, move and transfer patients/residents as required, and answer call lights in a timely manner. The CNA/Bath Aide will also assist patients/ residents with eating as needed, keep patients/residents clean and dry, and toileting or providing incontinent care. In addition to these core responsibilities, the CNA/Bath Aide provides a supportive, protective, and safe environment for all patients/residents.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent (GED)
  • Must have current CNA Certification in the state of - TX
  • 1+ years of experience as a CNA in long term care
  • Ability to understand, remember and carry out verbal and written instructions in English
  • Ability to speak clearly and hear well enough to communicate with residents
