About the Position:

When members of the community come into our care as patients or residents, they leave the security and comfort of their homes. It is vital that our facility offers a safe, secure, well maintained, and comfortable place for our patients and residents to heal. The Maintenance Director leads the maintenance team in ensuring that our grounds exceed the expectations of our patients and their families while they are in our care. This position plays a key role in the overall presentation of our center.

 

Position Summary:

The Maintenance Director will ensure the overall safety, appearance and maintenance of the facility in accordance with all applicable Federal, State and Local requirements at all times. They will also ensure that safety committee meetings are held regularly, with complete and accurate documentation.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 3 years diverse construction or maintenance related experience in a supervisory capacity
  • Maintenance experience in long term care strongly preferred
  • Must be knowledgeable various mechanical, electrical and plumbing systems, HVAC certification a plus but not required
  • Must have knowledge of building codes and safety regulations
  • Must have a reliable source of transportation, valid driver’s license and proof of insurance
