Position Summary
The Medical Faculty Associates is a Subcontractor for a government contract with Vectrus that provides health care services for Troop Medical Clinic (TMC), Camp As Sayliyah, Qatar (ASG-QA-TMC) APO AE 09898.

The Supply Technician position will provide a variety of technical support duties to ASG-QA-TMC. The technician will provide a variety of technical support duties related to maintaining property accounts and records, adjusting stock levels, requisitioning supplies, conducting physical inventories, and preparing reports. The position performs a variety of logistical support relating to completing individual transactions, providing assistance, screening reference files, conducting data searches, and providing status of equipment ordered.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Other duties may be assigned.

1. Maintains accountability of property and supply files 2. Adjusts stock levels to reflect changing supply requirements and projected depletions 3. Determines when to requisition the quantities needed based on TMC needs. 4. Conducts physical inventories for a broad range of items and performs research to resolve discrepancies 5. Performs research in different catalogs to obtain stock numbers for a wide variety of items 6. Uses knowledge of standardized supply regulations to review, research, and resolve reports of non-deliveries, losses, damages, discrepancies, and computer generated rejects 7. Answers telephonic inquiries and contacts other facilities to provide guidance or requested assistance on logistical matters

EducationHigh school graduation an equivalent combination of training and experience

ExperienceMust be a US Citizen.
Must have at least 3 years of experience in the area of logistical supply.
Must present the demeanor of a health care professional.
Must be capable of dealing with multiple problems simultaneously.
Ability to speak Arabic is an attribute.
Knowledge of standardized supply regulations, policies, procedures, or other instructions relating to the specific functions assigned. Familiarity with one or more automated supply data bases to enter, correct, and retrieve recurring reports and to structure and retrieve specialized reports
Must be capable of operating a personal computer equipped with Microsoft software. Must be able to produce "Word" documents and "Excel" spreadsheets. What other special training and/or abilities are necessary to qualify for this position?
Must be able to work 48 hr. per week. Duty days and hours will be coordinated with the Director of Health Services.
A local driver’s license is required.
Requires a NACI Security Clearance
Designated emergency essential / Mission essential IAW Essential service plan.

CompetenciesAbility to input data into the computer, and analyze data as requested. Must be able to communicate providing verbal feedback in a professional manner. Must be able to follow and understand instructions, and react favorably in all work situations. Must be mentally adaptable and flexible in dealing with a variety of people.

Supervision Received
Position reports to the Medical Services Manager.
