Job Description

Position Summary

The Information Security Manager is a core team member of the Information Security team.  This role is involved in hands on implementation, configuration and maintenance of various security tools.  The ISM shall be familiar with a wide range of security products, and to develop, coach, and motivate a team of Information Security Analysts to operate those security tools and document Standard Operating Procedures.  The ISM is responsible for safeguarding MFA digital assets; maintain and build information security services with a customer service mind set; and review and resolve security events appropriately.

Education           

Bachelor’s degree that included courses in computer sciences, cybersecurity, statistics, business administration or mathematics is desirable. 

Certification

CISSP, CISA, CISM or Security+ preferred
                                               

Experience

Understands and experience with enterprise security operations

Experienced in hands-on implementation, operation and maintenance of various security tools

Ability to complete security assessments and projects independently

Familiar with NIST cyber security standards
Change management experience preferred
Healthcare & HIPAA experiences preferred
VMware technologies like Horizon VDI, RDSH
Microsoft Active Directory
Electronic Health Record-related applications- specifically Allscripts
Experiences with IDS/IPS, AV, DLP, MDM, CASB products

Competencies   Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills. Must be able to communicate providing verbal feedback in a professional manner. Must be able to follow and understand instructions, and react favorably in all work situations.  Must have strong interpersonal skills and be mentally adaptable and flexible in dealing with a variety of people at various levels.
