Cedar Mountain Commons is a not-for-profit independent and assisted living retirement community, where residents are able to maintain their independence while living in the safety and comfort of a service-rich environment. We are a compassionate, highly trained and certified staff which aims to provide residents with the care they need at the standards they expect.

Provides service and care to each resident in a timely efficient manner. Maintains expectations of resident and family with satisfactory results and implements high quality services in a positive customer service focused manner. Reports to the manager/director.

Job Requirements

  • Current certification as nursing assistant required or have successfully completed the certified home health aide or homemaker/personal care homemaker training program required. High school education preferred.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Physical stamina and ability to assist residents or lift residents where needed and in emergencies.
  • Demonstrated interest in the elderly and knowledgeable of serving their needs.
  • Demonstrates consistent ability to accomplish multiple tasks with a positive attitude.
  • Promotes positive work environment that emphasizes teamwork.
