Hartford HealthCare Independence at Home enables elderly & disabled individuals to achieve maximum independence, to participate in their own plan of care, and to live with dignity while receiving quality care in their own homes. Our staff of highly trained professionals treats patients holistically, considering family and living situations for the most appropriate care plan.

Hartford HealthCare Independence at Home is growing! We have a number of Per Diem positions providing personal care and housekeeping assistance to clients in their homes.

Job Description: Providing personal hygiene and grooming care to clients; Assistance with toileting, ambulation, etc.; Providing meals for clients' nutritional needs; Reporting changes in clients' condition to supervisor, or client care coordinator; Performing routine housekeeping and home management duties; Recording each client's care on care plan and submitting care plan in a timely manner; Assisting with providing emotional support for the clients and their families; Assisting with routine therapy exercises; Participating in case conferences as requested; Attends all required in-service education sessions.

Job Requirements


Requirements:

  • Minimum 1 year work experience, preferably in home care, or in a hospital or facility
  • Good housekeeping and home management skills
  • Good communication skills and a helpful attitude
  • Driver's License and Auto Insurance Required
